Shipping & Returns
At aura cashmere, we want your scarf's journey to be as smooth and transparent as possible. From the moment you order to its delivery to your door, we carefully manage every step—so you can simply look forward to your new piece.
Our shipping philosophy
Our scarves and shawls come from regions where the art of weaving and finishing has been passed down for generations—including the Himalayas, South Asia, and other traditional craft regions. Instead of building up large inventories, we work closely with our partner workshops and source products in carefully planned shipments. This way, we keep prices fair, avoid unnecessary transport, and contribute to a more sustainable use of resources.
By consolidating orders, we also reduce the number of individual international shipments. This lowers overall transportation costs and reduces the environmental footprint of each piece. At the same time, it means that orders from aura cashmere are free of surprise customs or import fees – everything is handled through our Swiss logistics hub.
This is how shipping works
- You place your order. As soon as your order is received, it will be added to our next bundled delivery from the partner regions.
 - Bundled shipping to Switzerland. Depending on order volume, we organize 1–3 shipments per week from our production partners abroad. These typically reach Switzerland within 3–5 business days .
 - Delivery to you. As soon as the products reach our Swiss hub, we will ship your package immediately via Swiss Post. You will receive a tracking number to track the delivery in real time.
 
The total delivery time is usually 4–8 business days from the order date. In exceptional cases (e.g., customs delays, logistical capacity, or weather), delivery may take slightly longer.
Special shipping cases
For certain products, it may be noted on the product page and during checkout that the item is shipped directly from the origin. In these cases, delivery typically takes 15–25 business days (actual times may vary); additional customs or import fees may apply. We clearly mark such cases so you are aware before ordering.

We currently deliver to Switzerland, Germany and Austria – with simple, transparent conditions:
- Free shipping for all orders over CHF 100.–
 - For orders under CHF 100.– a small flat rate will be displayed in the checkout
 - No unexpected additional import or customs fees for deliveries via Switzerland
 
Track shipment
Transparency is important to us. As soon as your package has been shipped from Switzerland, you will receive an email with a tracking link – so you can track your aura cashmere item all the way to your home.
Responsibility & Risk
Responsibility for your order transfers to you once the package has been handed over to the shipping service. We do our best to ensure smooth deliveries, but cannot be held liable for delays or damage caused by postal services or external circumstances beyond our control.
Returns & Exchanges
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We don't offer refunds, but we do offer a simple and transparent return process as a gesture of goodwill.
Return period: You can request a return within 10 days of receipt.
Conditions for returns:
- The item is unworn and unused
 - All original tags are attached
 - Return in the original packaging
 - Receipt is enclosed

Exchange
If you would like to exchange an item, please initiate a return first. Once the return has been processed and your store credit has been issued, you can reorder the desired alternative.
Damaged or incorrect items
